What a disappointment!
I couldn't wait to see the show since I love Beartooth and Jon Stewart. It was a major disappointment, unfortunately. The show started late, which was incredibly annoying for a weeknight show. We made sure we arrived at 6:30 for a 7pm show, despite all the reminders to be on time. We dutifully handed over our phones to be locked in the pouches and made our way to our seats, as we had been warned that latecomers might not be seated. An HOUR later, at 7:30, the show finally got started with an intro act. While waiting for the show, we were blasted by a hidden DJ who played the music so loudly that we had to cover our ears. Instead of one of the headliners, out comes Pete Davidson from SNL. He was HORRIBLE! Talk about bringing the mood down! At last, Jon Stewart took the stage and did an ok job (kinda funny, but not great). He told a really gross story that really turned the show in a bad way. Then Beartooth came on. Then, all 4 comics came back to just chat and it just got downright boring, very similar to the Blue Collar Tour. It was after 10 pm and we'd had enough, so we left. During the entire show, people in front of us were constantly getting up to go get more food and alcohol and go to the bathroom, which, of course, interrupted the show for us. Most annoying, several people had either snuck their phones in or had them unlocked in the chat zone, so they were taking pictures and videos, which no one did anything about. For what I paid for the show, it definitely wasn't worth it.
